Job Summary: 

Kokua Support Services is currently seeking subject matter support for MH-47, MH-60, and A/MH-6 helicopter platform. Successful performance requires knowledge of the aircraft level qualification requirements and ability to interface effectively with aircraft subsystems and systems developers and airworthiness qualification engineers. 

Essential Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to: 

-Provide senior technical expert level aircraft integration support related to airworthiness to include safety related input into design and development, initial qualification and fielding, post-production modifications, and continuous safety risk management and investigation. 

-Recommend appropriate airworthiness environmental and electromagnetic effects qualification tests and analyses and assist in communicating priorities and PM intent to the appropriate delegated airworthiness release organizations 

-Assist in the staffing process of aircraft maintenance work orders and maintenance messages. 

-Attend design reviews to ensure these steps continue to be considered throughout the acquisition and development processes. 

-Assess potential aircraft safety hazards associated with all SOA helicopters and fixed wing assets. 

-Plan, organize, execute, and document results of periodic and emergency aircraft system safety working groups for aviation platforms. 

-Other duties as assigned. 

Required Qualifications: 

-Minimum of 15 years’ experience in military aviation. 

-Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, or 10 years’ experience as a military pilot, flight test engineer, or flight test director. 

-Minimum of 10 years of experience working in acquisition (supporting definition, development, acquisition, and fielding of equipment). 

-Secret or Interim Secret security clearance. 

Desired Qualifications: 

-Minimum of 5 years of experience working in an aviation program management office. 

-Master’s Degree in management or a technical field.
