Job Title: Senior Aviation Analyst
Job Location: Washington, D.C.
Experienced Senior Aviation Analyst to provide site support for Aviation Futures Program, Joint Concepts, force transformation initiatives, science and technology investment, technology transition, and management support within the DAMO-AV Director for Systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-Provide support to the Department of the Army G-3, Aviation Task Force Director, and other supporting agencies as the Senior Futures Analyst. Deliver a Contractor Status Report (CSR) outlining the monthly accomplishments.
-Coordinate aviation Joint Concepts, force transformation initiatives, science and technology investments, technology transitions; concepts and plans for intermediate and far term aviation programs, requirements for programming and budget exercises, Aviation Futures Program requirements and resulting briefings.
-Research, analyze and develop recommendations to the Systems Division Chief for resource Program Objective Memorandum (POM) risks to the Transformation Campaign Plan.
-Develop and evaluate recommended aviation platform requirements, including Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), to develop Army Modernization initiatives and/or functional adequacy for current and future components / systems / subsystems.
-Coordinate efforts and inquiries with the Chief of Legislative Liaison Office, Secretary of the Army for Financial Management Budget Liaison Division, ASA (ALT), G8 Program Analysis & Evaluation, and other pertinent agencies. Draft and support government personnel in providing presentations/briefings as required.
-Assist with the preparation and support of Capabilities Development/Production Documents, Integrated Process/Concept Teams, Council of Colonels, General Officer Working Groups, VTCS, and briefings related to and regarding Aviation Futures Program, Joint Concepts, force transformation initiatives, science and technology investment, and technology transition.
-10 years Army Aviation experience
-Demonstrate knowledge of the DoD and U.S. Army Capabilities Development and System Acquisition Management; knowledge of capabilities integration and development.
-Demonstrate background with Army Science and Technology, Army Planning, Programming, budgeting and Execution Process.
-Demonstrate knowledge of the aviation system life-cycle process for development, prioritization, and support, aviation modernization planning and knowledge in Army Study Boards.
