This position is contingent on contract award and customer funding.

Job Summary: 

Kokua Support Services is currently seeking an experienced acquisition specialist to provide programmatic and acquisition support to US Government (USG) personnel for contract execution.

Duties include:

  • -Assist in conducting research to define and refine requirements, draft acquisition documents (i.e., PWS/SOW/SOOs, cost estimates, sole source justification and approvals, etc.), and support other tasks as required by the USG.
  • -Prepare concise, unambiguous documents in a Microsoft Word format in order to represent a requirement of the Government in the form of a Performance Work Statement (PWS), Statement of Objectives (SOO), Statement of Work (SOW) or Salient Characteristics for Government personnel contract execution
  • -Provide advisor and recorder support for technical evaluations of third-party proposals and provide recommendations to the USG.
  • -File and maintain all contract documentation in a location provided by the USG. Records shall be updated within two business days of receipt.
  • -Support post-award activities, e.g. review of deliverables, management of task orders, contract closeout activities.
  • -Submit the documents for approval in the Paperless Contract File (PCF) database and maintain such files for the life of the requirement
  • -Assist in reviewing invoices to determine if the contractor has met all requirements to submit the invoice, the accuracy of the invoice and recommend whether their assessment is that the invoice is allocable, allowable, and reasonable.
  • -Other duties as assigned.



  • -BS/BA from an accredited university in Business Administration or a related field
  • -Four years of acquisition experience that demonstrates familiarity and experience working with FAR, DFARS, AFARS.



  • -Active Secret Clearance
