Job Title: Unmanned Aircraft Systems Coordinator
Job Location: Washington, D.C.
Senior Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Coordinator to provide oversight for modernization and transformation (both current and future force) in support of the Aviation Task Force, HQDA G3/5/7, in the Pentagon.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Plan, develop, and conduct analysis or studies to establish the feasibility of UAS / subsystems / components to meet requirements and/or adequacy of design, including Interoperability Profiles and related processes and the Army’s Common Operation Environment (COE)/ Future Airborne Capability Environment (FACE) standards, processes, and initiatives.
-Develop and evaluate recommended UAS requirements to develop Army Modernization initiatives and/or functional adequacy for current and future components / systems / subsystems.
-Maintain technical liaison at the executive level to the Army Staff (G1, G2, G3, G4, and G8), the Program Executive Office UAS, and the Office of the Secretary of Defense’s Tactical Warfare Systems (TWS) Office, which may include tasks such as providing recommendations to congressional activities or inquiries, organizational development planning, and drafting policy and guidance.
